Requirement Analysis:

  • Elicit and understand of Business and Technical requirement
  • Collaborate with interfacing development team to analyze impact of the requirement.
  • Analyze and document Business and Technical requirement, Prepare System Requirement Document (SOD).

Architecture Design

  • Map Technical requirement to sub systems. Prepare System feature design (SFD) document
  • Prepare detailed design specifications (DDS). Map Design component with user, and Technical requirements, i.e. prepare requirement traceability matrix (RTM)

Development, Testing and Reviews

  • Development of the software application code based on the requirement
  • Troubleshoot code development issues if any with SW proprietary tools
  • Perform integration testing to ensure that integrated modules are working properly

System/Application Testing

  • Work with system testing team in test data creation, test results analysis etc.
  • Prioritize, trouble shoot and fix defects opened during test execution
  • Provide installation instruction for deployment of emergency fixes in the system test environments

Deployment and Support activities

  • Prepare stepwise installation and deployment document
  • Closely work with release management team to move the code in production environment
  • Monitor application in production environment and provide real time support for analyzing and troubleshooting issue

Team Coordination / Client Interaction

  • Interact with client right from the requirement stage to delivery of the application
  • Highlight about issue, risk, limitations etc. for present and future deliverables
  • Understand change requests that are raised by client after the development started
  • Coordinate and Plan all the activities of the project with the team resources

Database Administrator

Requirements:

Duties :
The candidate is expected to understand business systems, processes and activities to offer comprehensive systems and Database Administration solutions with respect to Configuration, Administration, Monitoring, Security Management, Performance Tuning, Backup/Restore and troubleshooting. The candidate has to Configure and tune databases and operating system software to ensure optimum performance and resource utilization. He / She should function as the technical liaison between Application development, support and other DBA team/s, enforce enterprise security policies and procedures on databases. Candidate should be able to do implementation, configuring data source, queues/topics & deployment of code etc. with excellent analytical problem-solving skills.

Requirement Analysis

  • Analyze the Requirements from multiple teams (Development, Reporting, BA) collaborating with Business Operational users and Implement the requirements.
  • Collaborate with Third Party Admins, Business Analysts and support along with other architects and System analysts to identify data requirements by each business departments.

Database Design/optimization process

  • Establish, oversee, and optimize all database maintenance & backup processes.
  • Create system design specifications based on the requirements gathered, which will include database parameters or specifications.
  • Create Data Design artifacts that define technical data specifications, and transformation rules; and deliver, gap analysis, impact analysis.

Project execution

  • Prepare, maintain and execute disaster recovery plans and delivery methodologies.
  • Query performance optimization, tuning implementations.
  • Manage backup and recovery of databases.
  • Monitor and report system performance and resource consumption trends to assure production systems meet availability requirements
  • Create data backup to prevent loss of information and provide technical support for Database maintenance and resolve issues.
  • Monitor databases for errors and perform problem determination when necessary. Develop process automation scripts to enhance the efficiency of operations

Database Testing

  • Participate in release planning and help development team to accordingly deploying the changes in to production, UAT and QA environment.

Project Documentation and Quality Standards/procedures

  • Establish standards, controls, and procedures to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Follow and implement the enterprise wide standards on data governance, privacy while designing and development of databases, security framework and data archival
  • Maintain Data dictionary, meta data management, Master Data management and reference data management, naming convention and develop procedures to be followed by developers.
  • Document and communicate database schemas, using accepted notations, development standards and performance metrics.

Team Coordination / Client Interaction

  • Provide assistance to developers in DBMS performance tuning, best practices architecture and problem resolution.
  • Design user interface self-service tool to enable business users to create reports as per their requirements.
  • Design new databases and integrate them with business tools
  • Configure databases with various clients and resolve user issues.

System Analyst

Duties:

Planning and defining project scope

  • Work with all project stakeholders – business and technology partners to gather high level requirements and create the project charter.
  • Narrow down the requirements along with technical lead to define the scope and high-level timeline of the project.
  • Create detailed Project Plan with interim milestones.

Estimation of effort

  • Break down high level project requirements into individual user stories in collaboration with the Product Owner.
  • Determine the effort involved in delivering the user stories in individual sprints using Agile tools.
  • Create detailed Resource Plan and accordingly request resources from the resource manager.
  • Prepare system design, technical architecture and high-level test scenarios.
  • Create system design specifications based on the requirements gathered, which will include database parameters or specifications, ER diagrams, Use case diagrams, System diagrams, flow charts, data flow diagram, Component diagrams

Participate in end to end software development and testing

  • analyze, design, development, testing and implementation of software applications as per the project schedule and scope.

  • Determine factors that measure the success of a project in quantifiable terms.

Create policies, procedure and framework for the project to meet audit requirements

  • Throughout the life cycle of the project, monitoring is done to ensure that these set standards are met. Follow-up with project stakeholder for mandatory approvals from Security, Architecture, Compliance, Risk and Audit, Release Management

Release management

  • Release new versions of the application with enhanced features as well as defect fixes. Prepare and review Implementation Tracker and Migration Plan.

Follow Agile/Scrum project methodology

  • Participate in daily stand up, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint review and retrospective to have efficient functioning of the team processes towards project goals.
  • Be part of Agile best practices to be able to increase the team velocity.

Stakeholder and Vendor management

  • Provide visibility and work with multiple stakeholders to keep them apprised via annual, quarterly, monthly, weekly reporting.
  • Facilitate communications with vendors to keep track of expected delivery, resource efforts and invoicing.

If an active regular part-time, full-time or temporary employee or consultant recommends a candidate who is hired for a position, he/she is eligible to be paid a recruiting bonus. Referral bonuses amounts vary based on personnel and contract requirements and are subject to change without notice.

In order to receive the bonus, the following must occur:
